Meet LaDawn "Khetnu Nefer" Frasier

LaDawn “Khetnu Nefer” Frasier, LMT, CHHP, Certified Herbalist

LaDawn “Khetnu Nefer” Frasier is a self proclaimed Gullah Geechee Goddess, Army Veteran, Licensed Massage Therapist of 20 years, Certified Herbalist, Speaker, Author, Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, Reiki Master, Certified Auricular Therapy Practitioner, and Full Spectrum Doula dedicated to women’s health and whole-person healing. Trained in massage therapy, sound therapy, Kemetic yoga, and African dance, she fuses her Gullah Geechee ancestry with holistic practices that restore balance, embody culture, and build community resilience.

Originally from Johns Island, South Carolina, a costal sea island in the Gullah Geechee corridor, Khetnu now resides in Washington, DC, where she serves as President of the DC Chapter of Holistic Professionals of Color, leading initiatives that expand access to healing for the local community. She is also the Founder and Director of the Gullah Geechee Herbal Gathering, a cultural, wellness, and herbal conference that uplifts and preserves Black and Indigenous herbal traditions. Through her mobile practice, A Soulful Touch Wellness, Khetnu brings integrative care directly to women, seamlessly weaving massage, Reiki, herbal remedies, sound, and movement to create transformational wellness experiences.

Her professional calling is rooted in her personal journey. A Uterine Cancer survivor, PCOS cyster and advocate, and current Lupus warrior, Khetnu embodies resilience and advocacy, reminding women that healing is possible even in the face of chronic health challenges. She also serves as a Women Veterans Peer Counselor, offering safe, culturally grounded spaces for servicewomen to heal and thrive.
